Hi anna1981 - please could you supply the ranges that go with these figures as it is very hard to interpret the results without them? Please could you also indicate if you are on thyroid replacement and if so what dose? Thanks x
Hi thanks for answering. I have no range atall unfortunately. What it is I was over active..had r.a.I...went underactive ...been on 125mg of thyroxin then after 8 months suddenly went over again..now I been taken off all thyroxin so am on nothing and endo seems happy.but I find it hard to understand how all of sudden I on nothing and sometimes feel under but today feel over again and have lost weight last 2 week's...any thoughts?? Xxx
Hi Anna
You need to get an actual copy of your test results to get the ranges. This will help people to better offer support.
Are you keeping a diary of symptoms vs dosage vs results?

I think that you may need re-testing, if you cannot get this done by GP, you can have private tests:

I also feel that you probably need thyroid antibody testing.

Just a pointer, if you want to reply to someone in particular, you have to make sure to click on 'reply to this', otherwise they will not get an email letting them know you have responded.

Hi Anna
Would really rather wait until you have the full results - sorry.
Make sure you are keeping a diary of how you are feeling..

How do you feel? That is more important than blood tests results!! Just because your TSH is supressed is NO reason to take away your thyroid meds!!
My aunt was hypo, her GP gave her thyroxine till her blood tests came back as 'normal' then STOPPED her meds she is so ill and refuses to acknowledge the fact that she has an under active thyroid because the doctor tells her that her bloods are 'normal'!!!
Hi You need ranges , all bloods vary at different labs.It depends how you feel but also how long you have been treated for, it takes a long while to get right.
