Dr Toft has retired from the NHS but is working privately at the Spire Murrayfield Hospital, 122 Corstorphine Road, Edinburgh EH12 6UD Tel [phone]. He's only just started there and has clinics on a Wednesday morning. I know it's only helpful for those in Scotland, but there are hardly any private endos in this area of Great Britain.

Thank you for that and what an interesting read that was! I saw a different endo - a Mr Adamson - he seemed very knowledgeable even though he specialises in thyroid surgery and was defo of the opinion of - it is how you FEEL not what your results are and are they within range - which is very good news for us all I think. The other prob is that my GP told me that thyroid probs are classed as a GP Managed Condition, so I think that getting to see an endo on the NHS might be a tad difficult. Thanks again

He's at the same place as Dr Toft I'm afraid so not much good if you're not in Scotland. I know of another one in Cheadle if that's any good.Mr Adamson was spot on though and I feel TONS better now I'm off my beta blockers and betahistine and that is all down to him. I'll defo remember him if I ever win the lottery. I hope you get sorted soon and feel much better.
