Seeing the consultant

My appointment came through a week later for the following week. My husband took me to the Ear Nose and Throat clinic and I met my consultant Mr De. He examined my neck and said that it was a multinodular goiter. He then put a small camera up my nose and checked my vocal cords which he said looked fine. He then said that he wanted me to go for an ultrasound test to see exactly what the goiter contained and then he would see me again after that.
