Thyroid levels during pregnancy?

I have taken thyroxine for my underactive (hashimtos) thyroid for approx 13 years and the levels have always been under control… I am now pregnant for the first time and had a shock this morning when my TSH result came back at over 7. The GP has advised increasing my dosage from 100 to 125mg a day, and has referred me to see an endocrinologist.

Has anyone else experienced their TSH levels fluctuating during pregnancy?

Im also worried I have had 12 weeks of early pregnancy with the wrong levels and have hurt the baby 😞

The baby will take all the thyroid hormones they need

But it’s good GP has now increased your dose levothyroxine

GP should be testing your vitamin levels too, vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

have these been tested

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Ferritin has been tested as part of my pregnancy blood work and it’s all fine. I am taking the pregnancy supplements which cover all the ones you mentioned so hopefully that’s fine too.
