armour cost

hi I have just received my most recent order of 2 grain armour plus one bottle of 1/4 grain , the later as despite being great on 2grain for years ,I feel very under despite numbers seemingly not bad I may trying an increase . I know this may not be the answer and why . Anyway I have just paid £600 !! Including customs tax for the two bottles that’s£6 a day . My uk gp tolerates my self advocacy just but will not prescribe ndt. In my 7Os I dread being forced back on Lev0 due to cost . I get ndt from a great pharmacy across the pond. I have tried naturthyroid and thyroid s , the former worked for years till they changed it . Thyroid s I felt was not great i just cannnot trust in it’s manufacture. Question anyone else get the original armour cheaper .thank you

From my reading on the forum I believe some members that take NDT get it from a compounding pharmacy via private prescription. Do you have a private prescription? There is a list of UK compounding pharmacies on Thyroid UK. No idea how it works as I take levo and have no knowledge of NDT.

I buy mine from a uk pharmacy with a private prescription. My last bottle of 100 tablets of 2 grains was just over £230. I don’t think you can buy it in the uk without a prescription but I may be wrong. Obviously I also have to pay the private Dr for consultations, blood tests etc on top of the cost of the Armour
