Hi there,
I am just hoping to get some insights and experiences with similar tests. I am a 43 year old female, 2 years postpartum, living in France. We have decided to try again and use our freezed embryon and the fertility doctor has prescribed to do some additional blood tests. One of the markers AC Anti-Thyroglobuline was way above the normal range and made me extremely anxious and wanting to seek some addiitonal informaiton.
TSH was checked quite regularly in the past years and it is always around 1,5 UI/mL
My GP is not concerned at all and said they are not doing any other tests since my thyroid is functioning well, seemingly. Fertility clinic is yet to come back with their protocol for the transfer.
Here are my results:
TSH 1,751 UI/mL (range 0,350 - 4,940)
T4 - 14,39 pmol/L ( range 9,01 - 19,05)
T3 - 4,72 pmol/L ( range 2,43 - 6,01)
AC Anti-Thyroglobuline 416,6 UI/ml ( range 0,0 - 4,1)
Vitamine D 24,01 ng/mL but I am starting some supplements now
Creatinine 67.4 ( range 42,0 - 92,0)
Ferritine 39,9 ug/L ( range 20,0 - 200,0)
I was wondering if anyone had similar situation when everything seems to be within the standard range apart from AC Anti-Thyroglobuline.
Is there anything I can do to support my thyroid function? Does this mean I will develop a thyroid disease in the future? Is it safe to have another pregnancy for both a child and a mother, especially taking my age into account?
Many thanks in advance,
V
