Potential Scam?

Morning

I received a private message overnight from someone calling themselves Donna ONO (ono89900tt) with a sad story on her husbands death, daughter and now herself given only 2 weeks to live.

She is asking for someone one to take on her dream of raising $30m to build an orphanage and to email her and her lawyer can assist with getting started on this project and no doubt required bank details for money transfers.

I've reported this but just a warning incase others have received too. I also found this had happened from the same individual 6 months ago on one of the other groups on Health Unlocked.

I’ve had the same pm and have reported it as spam too. I believe it has also occurred on another forum.

Same here. Have reported as spam. But they are now following me. How can I prevent that- any ideas?

Unless you switch off all following, you can't.

But when HealthUnlocked act on the reported scammers, the entire member will disappear - including from your list of followers.

I’ve also received the same message from the same user and have reported it as spam last night

I received it also. If you click on their profile theere is an option to report it. The more we report it the quicker it will be dealt with.

I had the same but I was a bit behind with my emails so the link was thankfully closed by the time I got to it.
