Help with S Wales Consultants

I have Benenden cover via my work, and they have given me the go ahead to have a private consultation about my current thyroid issues (although bloods are supposedly in range, still symptomatic. and GP won't increase my Levothyroxine; currently on 100mg). I have a choice of 3 consultants to choose from, and although the Cardiff one is easier for me to get to, I would be able to travel to Swansea or Bristol. Does any one on here have experience with the below?

• Dr Lindsay David George, Spire Cardiff Hospital

• Dr Parag Singhal, Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital-The Chesterfield Practice: 3 Clifton Hill, Clifton, Bristol

• Dr Atir Khan, HMT: Sancta Maria Hospital Practice, Lamberts Road , Swansea

Given that I have a choice of consultant, I would rather see one who I can trust and knows their stuff. Thanks in advance!

With any recommendation that you get, it is advisable to complete further research yourself before making a decision.

It is a good idea to have thyroid blood tests (TSH, FT4 and FT3) alongside key vitamins (ferritin, folate, B12 and vit D) prior to your appointment. This allows you to discuss the results with the endo at the first meeting.
