NDT struggles

I’m honestly so so fed up of feeling rotten all the time. All my vitamins are now optimal bar ferritin (which I’m working on) and I still feel no better. I was on 125mcg Levothyroxine and still felt symptomatic so switched to NDT. Anyone else react badly? I can’t even take 1/2 grain without feeling lightheaded, headache, nauseous within 30mins of taking it!!

oh no poor you, this sounds rough.

Low ferritin could do that.

You could also be under/over replaced. How long have you been on NDT? Any recent blood test results?

A month and feel all over the place - I tried to get to 1 and 3/4 grains. Not yet - pharmacist requested bloods in March. Thinking I might try 75mcg Levo and 1 grain of NDT.

I also have low ferritin, can't increase it due to fatty liver. Trying NDT (NP Thyroid) currently on 3/4 of a grain but getting bad pins and needles at night. But can’t go over 75mcg of levo either or I get headaches. Liver hurts and it's possibly cos of low Thyroid, in a bit of a mess right now and don't know what to do.
