I haven’t posted for a while… I’ve been feeling awful for months and just chalked it up to my thyroid. But when I had some labs run recently there were a few surprises. The Dr. informed me I’m type 2 diabetes and that was it. No discussion of what lies ahead or taking care of the results. So I’m turning to the tribe here as I know there are a few here that are so well informed on interpreting labs. So without further ado here they are…(I can’t seem to add more than 1 image so please see additional results in comments)

I'll set the ball rolling with thyroid levels, so TSH is a bit high which ties in with low fT4 (often need to be around 70%) but we really need a fT3 result to see what is going on
TSH 1.9 mIU/L (0.4 - 4.2) 39.5%
Free T4 (fT4) 17.1 pmol/L (9.7 - 25.7) 46.3%
I wonder if your high CO2 result is due to your kidneys slowing down due to a slowed metabolism, what is your resting heart rate, temperature and BP? Has your weight increased?
Many thanks for your reply! I have to look up what CO2 actually is in labs. As for resting heart rate and BP I’ll need to get that and report back. I had a family illness and wasn’t as diligent with diet and taking Levo so that may account for the slightly elevated result of TSH…maybe?
Your results show you are under-replaced which could be from missed doses or you just aren't on enough 🤷♀️ have you any previous results? If you think the diabetes has been triggered due to weight gain then I'd suspect your dose isn't right
What are you currently taking? Usually any dose of T3 would make for a very low TSH
