Lab results interpreted please!

Hello and happy holidays to the hive!

I have new results of some of my requested ***labs

1. It appears my antibodies are high! (flagged) What does that mean exactly when my other labs are “normal” (I know “Normal” is not the same as “optimal”). Do these results indicate a “flare”?

***My other labs won’t post here it seems so I’ll pop them into the comments section below…

And here’s the results of my Thyroglobulin and Anti-TG labs… !

Again what does this mean/how do I interpret the results based on overall results? I have Hashimotos but is this something else?

See next post for more labs…

And here’s Biochemistry results.. (all “Normal”) and no FreeT3!

TSH is elevated for me. I aim closer to 1 or lower.

Is Ferritin low?

are these the tests taken on just Levo, before you recently added 5mcg T3 ?

The raised TPOab /TGab results just confirm an autoimmune cause for hypothyroidism.

if they are considerably higher than previous TPOab / TGab levels , then yes it could indicate a recent flare in hashimoto's activity .. but if they are lower then . no .

TPOab are markers that attach to spilled thyroid peroxidase, saying 'clean this up' ... thyroid peroxidase gets spilled from the thyroid as a result of autoimmune damage (or other damage)

as far as i'm aware ,Throglobulin test is only useful if monitoring for reccurrence of thyroid cancer.

What is the cause of your hypothyroidism ? .. (autoimmune hypo , or thyroid removal/ destruction due to thyroid cancer, or something else)

Hi and thanks so much for responding. Yes this is just on Levo prior to starting T3. I’m Hashis, no thyroid cancer or removal. I’m on 100 mcg Levo at present. I’m introducing the T3 and retesting to see if I can remain at 100mcg Levo. If anything I’d like to add another 5 mcg T3 if things don’t improve. I’m now aggressively supplementing with Vit D, B12, etc. to improve my conversion. Question: what do you think of my Ferritin results? Should I be supplementing? Thanks in advance! 🙏

You have to press reply to notify the member. I'll alert them for you, tattybogle

If my ferratin was that low, I would be supplementing and eating lamb liver.

It’s liver and onions for you my friend, or pate. Low ferritin can make you feel dreadful. Wishing you well 🦋💚🦋
