More advice please!

I was on here a few months ago regarding my thyroid results they were Tsh normal but my T4 was 10.2 and previous it was 10.8 I been having symptoms for a long time. I went to see my Dr for blood results who said my thyroid was fine?? but my ferritin was really low so I had to take folic acid for 4 months. I am just at the end of this and still having days of severe weakness and exhaustion, cannot focus, weight gain, mouth ulcers, muscle aches ect. I am due to go back for a health check in 3 weeks should I ask for more thyroid tests as I am convinced this is the problem, some days it's unbearable.

Was that a typo there? (Easily done, if it was.)

You'd take folic acid for low folate - not low ferritin.

But severe weakness and exhaustion could well be symptoms of low ferritin.

Yes sorry it was low folate

Have you had a vitamin B12 test?

It would be common for folate and B12 to be tested together. And low B12 is commonly associated with mouth ulcers.

Don't take that the wrong way - definitely need thyroid tested as well. And full blood count and iron (ferritin, etc.).

Yes vitamin b12 fine, full blood test fine.

Please quote actual results along with reference range for each test.

What was B12 & ferritin? Any D3 result?
