hi. I have recently been diagnosed Hashimoto’s disease just after I gave birth. I also suffer from Hidradenitis and have done for years and years. Oddly since starting levothyroxine, the Hidradenitis has gone away. Anyone experienced this?

A few months ago I posted this:
Primary Thyroid Dysfunction Is Prevalent in Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Marked by a Signature of Hypothyroid Graves’ Disease
Hi, when undiagnosed HS was unbearable. When undertreated also. It still comes back mildly when I put on weight or eat too much sugar or times of stress. I did have laser treatment under arms and this helped greatly. Glad to hear you have had a relapse from this awful skin condition.
Once thyroid hormone is normalised by levothyroxine..most of my health problems disappeared.
Research suggests being hypothyroid is linked to Hidradenitis
Hi, I likely had mild hidradenitis. Suffered with boils when younger but didn't seek help as too embarrassed. Did have a nasty one dealt with under GA in my twenties. Since being on thyroid medication, I have not had an issue, even on low doses. On a couple of occasions I wasn't on any thyroid meds I would start with small boils and would stop once back on meds.
