Havnt used those but would recommend new era . For sceptic s of homeopathy how could it work for animals? There are qualified vets who prescribe successfully.

This is not the form of homeopathy that is regarded with extreme scepticism.

This is one of the problems. On the one hand there is the form of homeopathy in which the substance has been so diluted that, statistically, none of it remains in what is taken.

Whereas this defines a specific and measurable dose.

It seems perfectly possible to be persuaded by one form of homeopathy but not the other. But using the same word, homeopathy, for both causes confusion all round.

Used to, have a book by Dr Schuessler somewhere. Some folks swear by them. I had a German friend who used them in a kind of home pharmacy.

I was a bit put off when all the studies about homeopathic dosages and placebo came out a few years ago.

The quantities are in micrograms and not very high. Many of these have a lactose filler too.

Was it Magnesium you wanted to supplement?

Maybe try them, see how it goes for you? Cynics will say it’s a sugar pill so can’t do any harm (unless like me you react to lactose) 🙏

We also have a number of members who are convinced that acacia is the problem in some other medicines.

2 Synonyms

Acaciae gummi; acacia gum; arabic gum; E414; gum acacia; gummi

africanum; gum arabic; gummi arabicum; gummi mimosae; talha

gum.

And some who find even modest doses of biotin are problematical.

The eight tabs would provide 90 micrograms, which is over the usual daily requirements, and could be getting to the level at which some start to feel adverse effects. Especially if this is in addition to other sources of biotin.

Certainly Acacia Powder affects me and my Son, and when I realised that I use it in art, I can quite see why it might affect me.

diagnosed2013,

I’ve heard good things too but no specifics. How did they help your Nan?

I'm not actually sure how they helped her, but she literally had every one of the range & used them daily

I used to take mag phos as required for cramping shoulder muscles. (when I was working). They worked for me and helped stop headaches. We weren't allowed to give anyone painkillers (OH&S regs) but I did give one of the guys at work a couple for a headache. He came back 1/2 hr later saying they had worked.
