Help interpreting blood test.

Hi there.

Been to the doctors re: slight heart palpitations, and they've run some bloods (and ECG, which came back fine).

One thing that is noticeable are the cholesterol levels, which are high. I've also had a basic thyroid test done:

Thyroid function test

Serum TSH level 1.21 mu/L [0.35 - 4.94]

Serum free T4 level 11.8 pmol/L [9.0 - 19.1]

Serum lipid levels

Serum cholesterol level 5.9 mmol/L [3.6 - 5.0]; Above high reference limit

Serum triglyceride levels 1.9 mmol/L [0.5 - 1.7]; Above high reference limit

Serum HDL cholesterol level 0.82 mmol/L [> 1.0]; Below low reference limit

Calculated LDL cholesterol level 4.3 mmol/L [0.4 - 3.0]; Above high reference limit

Just wondering if the high cholesterol could be down to thyroid issues?

Theres no information in your profile. Are you diagnosed and treated for a thyroid condition? If so what do you take?

What supplements do you take and do you have any recent vitamin results - ferritin, folate, B12 & D3?

And what vitamin supplements

essential to test vitamin levels annually too
