What thyroid hormone do yo take and how much?
When was last dose of Levo before test?
What time of day was the test?
How do you feel?
FT4 only 67% of range so room for a Levo increase.
What are latest vitamin results?
What are you supplementing with?
Mercury pharma100mg
23hrs before
I feel okay but do get tired and have really low days here and there but not sure if that may be testosterone.
I gave attached a screenshot of vitamin levels
Supplement with BH Vit D with K
Kind regards
Are these results before or after you started supplementing?
After.. have been I've been supplementing since being advised to on here a while back. After posting bloods.
Are you the only person able to see my post from this morning?
That's why I asked if something was up with the website earlier.
I only ask as normally responses are raining into my inbox.
Kind regards
2 months ago your vitamin levels were good. What happened?
healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
Unless it's a different unit of measurement I'm not quite sure what your referring to as everything looks higher and in the optimal range from my latest posted today?I used medichecks the first time and some advised that Randox were excellent.. So I thought okay and that who did them in Clinic this time.
I appreciate your help but I'm confused by your response 🤷♂️
Your active B12 was 126 2 months ago which is excellent. On this result it is a serum B12 result of 386 which is too low. For serum B12 it should be 500+.
Obviously as there are 2 different tests its hard to compare directly.
Carnivore diet being very low carb will reduce conversion of T4 to T3.
Folate is still on the low side. Suggest you buy a 400mcg folate to increase intake of folate.
I'm struggling to understand why 2 Ribeye steaks and 4 eggs a day doesn't give me optimal B12 but I appreciate you pointing it out and will investigate.
Also this my iron results sorry forgot to attach to previous message.
Kind regards
I dont know enough about iron panels. Suggest you start a new post with that but your ferritin is high.
Thanks yes they showed that on the report but I am on a Carnivore Diet which may be the reason why.. perhaps I need to cut down on egg yolks.
Nothing wrong with the website!
Members are volunteers and not always available.
Are you looking for advice?
You are not giving us enough info!
How much thyroid replacement hormone are you taking?
Did you test according to our protocol....
...at 9am : on an empty stomach. : 24 hrs after last levo dose
If so ...
FT4 is 67.29% through the reference range
FT3 is 32.64% ditto
Meaning...
your T4 to T3 conversion is impaired ( high(ish) FT4 compared to low FT3)
We aim to have both Frees roughly approaching 75% through the ref range
This suggests you may benefit from a little added T3...but you would need another test 6/8 weeks after this one.
you don't tell us your dose(s) and what replacement hormones you are taking
Your antibodies are high indicating Thyroid Autoimmune Disease/ Hashimoto's so expect your hormone levels to fluctuate....a gluten free diet usually helps.
.
Hi,Yes I'm well aware of the volunteer aspect.. If you read back I was only surprised as normally my inbox would be full of responses within a couple of hours.
I know there have been some issues with the website and only asked the question.. I wasn't trying to upset you or anyone else for that matter.
Yes I am looking for advice please and I do already have a profile and posts just didn't realise I had to provide all this info again sorry.
Yes all done with your protocol.

I have already posted vitamin and iron results on this thread.

Going back to basics
For good health every cell in the body needs to be flooded daily with T3 by way of an adequate and constant supply
If that supply is low all, or any part of the body will suffer and produce symptoms....fatigue and anxiety amongst them
As explained above your FT3 is far too low.
Your T4 to T3 conversion is impaired so you need to raise T3, either by raising T4/levo dose or by adding exogenous T3
Since your FT4 is sitting at 67.29% thro the ref range leaving room to increase your dose, it is prudent to first increase your levo dose in an attempt to raise FT3.
So initially I would increase your T4 dose from 100 to 125mcg and test again after 6 weeks. Review symptoms.
If still symptomatic then increase dose to 150mcg, test after 6 weeks and review symptoms.
Ensure FT4 remains within range to avoid other possible issues. FT3 is unlikely to go over range in this instant tho' it too needs to remain in range.
Ì doubt you have room to increase dose further than 150mcg so if symptoms persist add a little T3....say 5mcg....and titrate dose as required
Monitor and adjust dose according to both labs and symptoms until you feel well
An endo will need to prescribe T3, which is why it's easier for your GP to first increase your dose.
They need to dose by FT4 and FT3....not TSH!

Medics knowledge of thyroid hormones is frequently very poor so learn as much as you can!
Hopefully this helps.
Good luck!
Hi Dippy,
Thanks for getting back to me about this.
So with regard to getting and Endo appointment I have asked.
The last time I posted the advice was also to increase my dose, tried to explain my numbers and the why I needed to to my GP and she went a bit mad waving her finger at me and telling me there was no way my levo would be increased ever as my TSH was well within range.
I can't afford an private endo but I may get a zoom call so I've been told, but when I have no idea.
So my alternative looks like trying to get an exogenous supply.
In the meantime I'm going to supplement my B12 & Folic Acid.
Kind regards
