I've just had my labs back after starting t3 with t4. I'm on 125 t4 and 12.5mcg t3 in the morning and 6 mcg at lunch. My t3 was 4.5 before I started on the t3 and my t4 was 19.4.
I feel so much better already but wonder if these labs are optimal? I followed all the guidelines on testing and will address my low folate with folic acid. I'm already on vit d and b12.
Further Labs to follow in comments
Thank you

Can you share your TSH, FT3 and FT4 since starting combination treatment- also add reference ranges in brackets after results- as these can vary between laboratories.
Have all your adverse symptoms reduced? I’m so pleased you are feeling better on your new medication.
Those look like pretty good results to stick with and give you body longer to settle into, the fact you are feeling well is fabulous!
Suggest you add a good B Complex to tackle your low folate and this will also boost your B12, some of the better ones are Thorne Basic B( one biggish capsule) Igennus Super B (can be 1 or 2 smaller tablets) folic acid isn't recommended as it needs converting before of any use hence these contain methylfolate
Your antibodies are high which might start to comedown now as things settle, raised CRP suggesting inflammation perhaps you have had a bug recently?
Thank you so much. Adding t3 has helped a lot. I'm finally starting to lose weight and am warmer! My resting heart rate has reduced also. I'm on a b12 1000ug but may need to look at a b complex. I do eat plenty of green veg so confused about that result! And I had a cold the week before the test!
Excellent 👏 it did take my brain a good few months to start to improve but 2 years on T3 and things are still on the up, I noticed a significant improvement when I sorted out my low B6 but all B Vits are vital to good brain health...ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
I've randomly picked one which is extremely wordy but you can just skip to the conclusion 😅
Diet and uptake are two different things and us hypo's tend to have low stomach acid hence lower uptake of dietary vits and mins ☹️ so most of us rattle with supplements to reach an optimum level
The CRP is likely elevated if you’ve had a cold. As TiggerMe has suggested, consider adding a good B Complex. It’s good to shop around- I alternate between Thorne Basic B and Ingennus Super B, depending on price (as I’ve found both equally good). I initially took them daily until B12 and folate optimal, but now I’ve found I can maintain good levels taking alternate days.
