Italylover46, Are you on any medication for the hyperthyroidism? Both uncontrolled hypERthyroidism and hypOthyroidism can be a cause for mental health issues. Depression is common symptom, which often doesn't respond well to anti-depressants because they're not addressing the root cause of the mental illness.
