I ordered my repeat of Levo a few days ago and stressed that the brand name Vencamil needed adding to the script due to lactose intolerance. (I do seem OK on Accord but have some background niggles that could be connected to lactose and want to prove to myself either way)
Just been to collect my prescription from the pharmacy. Yep, Accord 🙄 Had a lovely chat with one of the dispensers who showed me what my surgery has prescribed. Seems like the person in the surgery has added in the words 'Vencamil brand' right at the bottom after the instructions on how to take it.
The pharmacy has no problems with re-ordering the right brand and has suggested that I teach the repeat prescription writer at the surgery how to write a prescription 😄 (you would think they knew how to do it as it's their job)
Thanks to helvella I have the tools to explain properly. May need to print out and walk them through it but that's another adventure.
Why is nothing ever easy?
