Have been real unsettled this week.. fatigue, stomach ache bloated, dizzy, just don't know what's going on..phoned doctor he asked I come to surgery he checked me over told me he doesn't know as all is well.... Are you stressed over something.. nope just feeling so sick..I have received my blood readings that he had Infront of him. I went back to using teva 75 mg as I assumed new brand (AlMUS) 100mg was causing this sickness.. date of blood results 26/09/24 TSH level - 8.17 mU/L . . Surum T4 level - 16.1 pmol/L

Hi, you were only on increased dose of 100mcg daily for a few days? It's normal to have a few issues when altering the dose especially as you've been on 75mcg for so long.If you want to take it slower you could alternate 100 and 75mcg.I know the tablets are small but a simple pillcutter will do the job.Your TSH at over 8 shows your a bit off your optimal dose.

How long had you been back on 75mcg prior to test

Do you suspect you might be lactose intolerant?

Obviously it’s difficult to know if it’s the change in dose or change in brand causing the issue

This is why, if possible, we only change one thing at a time

Get a new prescription from GP for 100mcg tablets

Ring around different pharmacies and ask for either

Teva - ideally as you were on this previously

Or

Vencamil - which is lactose and mannitol free

Remain on 100mcg daily

Retest in 6-8 weeks

Meanwhile get GP to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

These are quite likely low
