This forum receives something like 10,000 posts and replies per month.
That works out as around 333 posts and replies per day.
There are six active TUK moderators. And, on any given day, at any given time, only some will be available.
If the posts and replies were divided evenly across moderators, that would be around 55 posts and replies for each moderator to check.
Of course, in reality, most posts and replies will be read by more than one moderator. (While some might well have been missed.)
And, having read, we have to decide if any action is needed. Which might be as simple as mentally noting it. Through ticking Like. Finding answers to specific points. Checking accuracy of information. Making replies. Linking to previous posts and replies
On top of that, moderators have their own personal health issues.
And our own interests.
And we post information as and when found.
And reporting issues to HealthUnlocked -and chasing them up.
