I think Jaydee1507 has used onedaytests in clinic appts. Numan rarely if ever mentioned here. Thriva mentioned occasionally but certainly not often.

I've been very happy with onedaytests. Their results are delivered via a secure PDF that has a password. Turn around pretty fast.

Hve used both in clinic with blood draw and finger prick from them.

Hey Jaydee,I was actually hoping to get a blood draw but I think they only have walk in clinics in England.. I'm in Bonnie Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I've emailed them as I'm happy to travel to Edinburgh from Inverness.

Kind regards

Medichecks or Blue horizon offer private blood draw or nurse to your house ……though not sure what coverage in Scotland is like

Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing

thyroiduk.org/testing/

Medichecks Thyroid plus BOTH TPO and TG antibodies and vitamins

medichecks.com/products/adv...

Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold includes BOTH TPO and TG antibodies, cortisol and vitamins

Only do private testing early Monday or Tuesday morning.

Hi SlowDragon,Thank you for your response. I'm actually looking for a full and comprehensive blood test and I don't think any listed in TUK cover this.

I've used both BH & Medichecks before.

The latter are a bit behind on the home kit they supply in that it's a big needle suitable for the arm only and not the option of what's current in a small butterfly needle.

I need a butterfly as post chemo my veins are shot in my arms.

When I asked them about it they stated they were only licensed for the much bigger needle.. Which according to my nurse is a bit behind current thinking. Hospitals more often than not use butterfly these days.

Anyway it turned out BH were very accommodating supplied me with a butterfly.

Apologies for the moan 😂

Look at Randox. Depending on the test you choose, some of their home test kits have Tasso devices offered at extra cost. (+£20) I think RedApple and TiggerMe may have used the Tasso device. Randox are very reasonably priced though a bit slower for results as you post to England, then the bloods go to Northern Ireland. I tested on a Monday and got results on the Friday.

They have a General Health test for £69 , terrific value for what it offers. Last week on their website it showed as an in-clinic test (Edinburgh) and as a finger prick home test. On the web site today it is not showing as an in-clinic test anymore. It still shows today as a finger- prick home test, but no Tasso device offered with it. You can buy a Tasso Device from a separate company to take your blood sample if finger-prick not suitable. (£30 ish) I don't know if your veins, post chemo , would make a Tasso unsuitable or not as I have no experience of them.

As mentioned by Wua13262348 , there's a new device for home blood drawing called the Tasso. It attaches to your upper arm and uses an inbuilt lancet to make a tiny cut, from which blood then drips into the attached test vial.

It's currently being offered by a couple of companies, and for only a very few home tests. But it is possible to buy the device separately from other vendors.

I have used one once, and found it to be so much easier than fingerprick, and much more convenient than having to sort out phlebotomy.

Numan mention it here numan.com/diagnostics/how-t...

Here's one site that's offering the device only, so you can buy the device and use it with any fingerprick kit from any test company (instead of taking blood from your finger). allergyshop.co.uk/product/t...
