I added T3

So it was suggested I try adding T3 to my ndt and I started 10mcg in the morning last week and finally my hair has stopped shedding. So I reduced my afternoon ndt by half. My dose now is 2 grains ndt am with 10mcg T3 pm 1 grain. So far good but I am experiencing a head pulse and so not sure I should reduce am ndt or try quarter my half T3 pill. Any thoughts appreciated.

I would have used 5 no 10 T3 until you get used to it. Why not up your NDT which one are you using? Some of the batches are weaker than others.

I am on thyroid s and have had hairloss for over a year. The t3 has stopped it so thought I would lower ndt but I am going down on the t3 thanks

Strengths of Thyroid S do vary. I've had three batches so far. The first I took 1.75, split morning and evening, same as my Naturthroid, the second, 2.24, split the same way. The batch I've just started seems to work at 1.75. Any more and I couldn't sleep.

that’s a lot in one go, I had to start on 2.5 mcg T3 and it took months to get to 10! Brands vary a lot too. If you have palpitations you probably should drop down/stop and restart much lower (you can quarter the tablets. 🌱
