Hi all a friend of mine has many of the classic symptoms on being hypo she took a medichecks test early morning her nutrients are all low in range so she's going to work on these, and she did not test positive for antibodies however her thyroid results wereTSH 3.39 top of range is 4.2

T4 14 range (12-22)

T3 5.4 top of range is 6.8

I am hashis and I know for me these results would make me very symptomatic however I know she's unlikely to be diagnosed as hypothyroid? What do you guys think of these results? TIA

She could be showing early signs of being hypo. FT4 is low and TSH above 2 which is suspicious.

Suggest she retests having got vitamins to optimal in 3-4 months.

Well done for advising her on how to test.

I hope shes bought some decent high dose supplements and not a multivitamin or cheap supermarket vitamins that wont do much.
