Well, there's also a 24 hour cortisol saliva test, but you won't get that on the NHS. If you can, it might be an idea to do that, along with a DHEA test, just to make sure the blood test is correct, because that result is very high. But, your doctor should organise the test for Cushing's.
when they were testing me years ago due to adrenal issues I had further blood tests (some of which had to be done at the hospital as they were time and temperature sensitive) I also had to do several 24hr urine collection samples plus for me they did also did some scans. Hope you get sorted soon.
thank you both - repeat blood cortisol came back as normal at 481. Still awaiting 24 urine results. Get impression GP is happy to rule out Cushings as this result was in normal range 😔
