Hello. I’ve been reading the posts and the amazing information and support you all give and I’ve definitely learned a lot so I got my bloods done last week, didn’t take my 75 levo for 24 hours and hope you can advise me on what I need to do. My last blood test was 5 years ago and will make sure I have regular tests going forward.hope you are all well and look forward to your reply.

Well, you need an increase in dose. Your TSH is far too high for someone on thyroid hormone replacement - should come down to 1 or under. And your FT4 - FT4: 14 pmol/l (Range 9 - 21) 41.67% - is too low. Most hypos need it more like 70/75% through the range. And, if your FT4 is low, your T3 is going to be low, and it's T3 that causes symptoms when it's too low.
But, how do you feel with those results? How you feel is just as important as the numbers.
BTW, Total T3 is the wrong test. It doesn't give you any useful information. If you can get T3 tested, it's the Free T3 - FT3 - that you need.
Oh, and your sodium is on the low-side. More salt on your chips?
Hi grey goose, thank you. I’m on 75 at the moment, what level do you think I should be? I’m feeling ok but think I’m just used to how I am but on reflection I have brain fog, my hair has been thin for years and find it difficult to loose weight
Do you mean how much levo do I think you should be on? I cannot possibly hazard a guess - and neither can anyone else. With hormones you have to start low and work up slowly until you reach your sweet-spot, but nobody can know in advance where that sweet-spot is likely to to be. It's just unlikely to be be where you are now. So, one increases the dose - by 25 mcg, no more, and see how it goes. Retest after six weeks.
You could do with adding or upping your Vit D & K2 ideally 100-150 this is a great link to help you work out how much you need... grassrootshealth.net/projec...
Hi SlowDragon, I’m on 50 of accord and 25 of wockhardt. I’ll ask my GP to test for ferritin, B12 and the T3-ft3. To be honest if not been taking supplements regularly but will do so from now on. I’ve got the Betteryou sprays of B12 and D3000+K2 and ordered magnesium gummies. I am so grateful for all of your support 🙏
