Help! I'm about to run out of Thyroid S.

Very unlike me but I just realised I am about to run out of Thyroid S. I have put in a new order but was told it would take 2 weeks to reach me. I only have 11 pills left and take one and three quarters grains a day. Should I reduce my dose to eke the tablets out, take the equivalent dose of levo, or just stop and wait when I run out? Please advise. Thank you x

Depending on where you have ordered it from I'd say two weeks is a long time. My last order arrived 5 days after it was posted through Thai Post and Parcelforce - quicker than birthday cards to our next village! However, in case you run out, you could try taking 1.5 grains, then 1.25, and see how you feel, then perhaps miss a day. I don't notice a difference if I reduce for a couple of days then miss a day completely, but you may. If you have to miss a day it's better to miss one day every few days, than three in a row. If you have some levo that may help, but again I'd say spread out the Thyroid-S and don't take the levo for several days running. Good luck, I hope your order arrives very quickly!

I don't know how many I might need yet Brightness14 It all depends on how long my order takes to reach me. I currently have enough pills for about 10 days if I reduce my dose. Taking batch TA21079

Wow, I've just seen you've been taking 21079, presumably you've been fine on it? That's the batch which so many people had problems with. Very interesting!

I ordered on the 26th July and it came yesterday, so hang on in there. Personally I would carry on taking the normal amount and go without for a couple of days if it does not come in time. Your body will just use the stored T4 in the NDT.

I always have Metavive 11 should mine be delayed, also if you have tracking on the package, use it, my supply was delayed last time got them to track it from Thailand and it had reached destination post office but for some reason remained there for couple weeks.
