Hello all. Does anyone have good advice regarding names, sources, or manufacturers of NDT hormone?
I've tried thai NDT before, a couple different ones, but I didn't notice a huge difference. I'm happy to try it again, because the reason could have been any number of factors. Perhaps my diet wasn't where it should be, which I feel it is now. Just curious what others' experience has been with whatever NDT they might have used. I know that supplies ran short since 2020 but I'm hoping they're back up to normal now, or at least closer to typical. I live in the US. No official diagnosis because my levels keep coming back normal but that no longer matters to me. I know I'm low based on the last 42 years of life. I'll still seek to get evaluated but I'm not going to wait for results from a test that I don't even trust. The test here is so general and the normal range so wide as to be meaningless.
Thanks for any and all responses. God bless

To avoid being scammed by unscrupulous suppliers who we know contact members when requesting suppliers of thyroid meds, you are encouraged to contact a member of the Admin team to see if we have any feedback on any recommendations that you are sent. Please read the post linked to below and don't part with any money until you have checked any supplier information with myself or another Admin.
However, admins cannot make any recommendations themselves.
You will find few, if any, of the potential suppliers accept the best known and most trustworthy forms of payment such as PayPal and credit cards. The major payment companies are very wary of medicine suppliers.
If you are not within the UK, please make this clear. Some potential suppliers will only supply specific countries.

However, as I am replying, I'll add that my world desiccated thyroid document contains details of all products I know of.
If you wish to re-ask some questions (other than about suppliers), please feel free to post again.
helvella's medicines documents (UK and Rest of the World) can be found here:
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world. There is now a specific world desiccated thyroid document.
I highly recommend viewing on a computer screen, or a decent sized tablet, rather than a phone. Even I find it less than satisfactory trying to view them on my phone.
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines - UK
The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrixes for levothyroxine tablets, oral solutions and also liothyronine available in the UK. Includes injectables and descriptions of tablet markings which allow identification. Latest updates include all declared ingredients for all UK products and links to Patient Information Leaflets, etc. PLUS how to write prescriptions in Appendix F.
Contains details of all known desiccated thyroid products including information about several products not considered to be Natural Desiccated Thyroid (NDT/Desiccated Thyroid Extract/DTE).
Contains details of all levothyroxine, liothyronine and combination products - excluding desiccated thyroid products. Details available vary by country and manufacturer.
The link below takes you to a blog page which has direct links to the documents from Dropbox and QR codes to make it easy to access from phones. You will have to scroll down or up to find the link to the document you want.
