I am Hypothyroid/Hashimoto's and insulin resistant and vitamin D and B-12 deficient
Just wondering - what would cause the left side of your face to swell. It comes and goes. Been to the dentist several times thinking it was a tooth. But no. Its not a dental issue
any ideas?

Are you taking daily vitamin B complex as well as separate daily B12
Or B12 injections
How low was vitamin D
How much vitamin D are you taking
are your thyroid and vitamin levels now optimal
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 tested
Very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 at least once year minimum going forward
Many (most?) hashimoto’s patients find they need to supplement vitamin D, separate magnesium and vitamin B complex daily indefinitely
Some need separate B12, especially initially
Important to maintain good ferritin levels too
Low vitamin levels are extremely common when hypothyroid, especially with autoimmune thyroid disease
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Can you Add most recent thyroid and vitamin results
