Thyroid feels sore but I am on my normal amount despite my last TSH being 0.02.

Recently my blood test showed TSH 0.02 with normal T4 and T3. The doctor tried to drop my medication but I stood my ground. However I have developed sore thyroid over the last few days. Could it be too much levothyroxine as the doctor said.

Highly unlikely that your sore thyroid has anything to do with your dose. Thyroid hormone replacement doesn't have any direct effect on the thyroid itself. It is not a treatment or a cure for an ailing thyroid, it is just replacing the hormone your thyroid can no-longer make enough of. This sounds like a doctor-invention to attempt to make you toe the line and reduce your dose! Because there's nothing a doctor loves more than reducing doses!
