Hello, why do I feel sleepy after taking the levo+T3 pills (first in the morning)?
The feeling of slackness disappears after about an hour ...could it be something related to insulin?

Someone more knowledgable will hopefully reply to you.
Common sense, you have probably pinpointed this for yourself! I ‘know’ nothing BUT I strongly suspect you could be correct. T3 in particular ups your metabolism. To up your metabolism you must have calories available (so to speak). First thing in the morning your body may have nothing idling about or on hand. What time do you eat last the day before? ‘Empty’ calories (what many people eat late in the day) will exacerbate low glucose giving your T3 nothing to work with.
I wish I had understood this metabolic requirement whilst I was trying T3. It could have saved me a lot of bother.
adin,
Good guess. Do you have known insulin resistance? Thyroid hormones should be a good regulator of glucose metabolism but if they are low or not working well, blood glucose issues are common.
The other thing that springs to mind is low cortisol also induced by hypothyroidism. Cortisol is needed to make T3 work properly and should be highest first thing in the morning. Perhaps after taking your pills any deficiencies are further felt.
