We are with you Lisalee123456! You are never alone when you are a member of this forum!

Having key thyroid vitamins optimal did wonders for my energy levels…. Have you tested ferritin, folate, B12 and vit D recently?

I take calcium and vitamin d3 and on my recent bloods ironically I have too much b12 and all the rest seem to be ok- except of course the tsh level at last count was over 100 and t3 and t4 were very low- I just sometime feel like the docs say oh wait 6 weeks for it to get in your system and it is such a long time when you feel like rubbish!

It took me months and months to get thyroid levels optimum….. but you will get there! You need to have as much rest as possible as it does take a strain on your body. Try to do more of what you enjoy…. Spending time outdoors etc 🦋

Oh I totally get it, I would love to have some energy to play with my son next week or go on holiday. Sometimes the fatigue just really gets to you. It's relentless

It really is and then you feel guilty when people say oh you look ok though haha- I just needed a pick me up today and knowing that I’m not the only one going through it helps so much- hate not being positive but sometimes you just need a break!!

Yes indeed! I look at everyone just getting on and doing normal things and sometimes I feel so jealous. Its like grieving I think, we are grieving the life we used to have and the future is uncertain, so it's scary. I sometimes find an adrenal cocktail helps (just oj, coconut water and salt) as I'm not drinking caffeine

100 percent- I know it sounds silly but even walking the dog I used to walk for miles- like 6 miles plus a day! And now I struggle with 6 mins sooo frustrating! Oh I might try that is there certain measurements or just a shot of each? Xx

In these last maybe 3-4 months "but you look fine" reeeeeally has been hard for me to take.

I don't feel guilty though, I feel unreasonably angry that people can't just accept what I say. I don't express that to them, just stew about it inside.

At those tsh levels with no T4 and T3 you will just have to rest ... Feel for you.

Can empathise a little, I am nearly 2 weeks fighting off a lurgy and it has has taken me back a bit like when my tsh was 79, 18 months ago.

Hope you get some answers soon on your adsorption tests.

What are options ,

1) Liquid levo

2)T3

3)NDT

When are they coming back to you ?

Why are you taking calcium? That's not a good thing to take if you can avoid it. In any case, taking D3 will increase your absorption of calcium from food, so are you sure you need to take calcium supplements?

Are you also taking vit D's cofactors: vit K2-MK7 and magnesium? Won't do you much good if you aren't.

Are you saying that your B12 is very high without supplements? If so, what is your folate level?

And how about ferritin? Low ferritin will make you feel very tired.

Just looking at recent bloods tests I don’t think I’ve ever been tested for ferritin what does that show as on a blood test? Last blood test my doctor said I’ve got raised b12 levels so asked was I taking a supplement I said no, which I’m not and the calcium is cocalceferio with vitimand3? I take these twice a day but not near the thyroxine haha as I no it does interfere xx

Ferritin is just called Ferritin on a blood test. It's your iron stores.

Yes, I guessed it was the combined calcium and vit D you were taking, but that's still not good. So, why are you taking it? Have you had your calcium tested? Because it's very easy to over-dose on calcium. Did your doctor prescribe it? Doctors know nothing about nutrients.

So, do you have low folate?

I can relate, I'm so pissed off with my deteriorated health...I try to keep cheery for family's sake but truth us it's friggin scary having hypothyroidism...j feel like levothyroxine is totally useless, hrt is working against thus condition....no-one wants to listen to a person complaining about aches pains ; various symptoms even the doctors give no hope of health progress...🙁
