List of endocrinologists?

Is there a list of thyroid friendly endocrinologists? Just feel I need some options on case everything comes to a halt again when my test comes around in July.

After reviewing the above, it’s also a good idea to ask members to recommend an endo (perhaps in your area) but replies to this need to be via private message only.

Get bloods retested including vitamin levels after 8-10 weeks on 75mcg Levo

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Assuming TSH over 2 it should be easy to get GP to increase dose Levo up to 100mcg

I have decided to continue doing the medichecks bloods at the same time as the GP does theirs. While I dis finally win the battle and they will test t4 too now, I still want to see my t3. Been on 75 for thereabouts 3 weeks now and don't feel a difference... But also in the midst of a nasty hashimoto's flare up since start of April, so I assume that makes ot harder to know for sure if there is a difference.

For supplements I am taking :

Cal/mag

Vit d 25ug

B12 1mg

Folate 400ug

Omega 3

What were most recent vitamin results

Rather than just folate we recommend a vitamin B complex

B vitamins best taken after breakfast

Igennus B complex popular option. Nice small tablets. Most people only find they need one per day. But a few people find it’s not high enough dose

Thorne Basic B recommended vitamin B complex that contains folate, but they are large capsules. (You can tip powder out if can’t swallow capsule) Thorne can be difficult to find at reasonable price, should be around £20-£25. iherb.com often have in stock. Or try ebay

IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results

Keep separate folate for the week before blood test

In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12
