Could you please teach me how to calculate the percentage in range of a test result so I can do this myself anytime I want to know? Or maybe you use a website and could pass on the link please?

Dopiaiza, my lovely husband. And yes, he really, really loves onions. And cooks great Indian food from scratch.

We are all deeply indebted to your husband. :)

I love onions, too. But I have never eaten a Dopiaiza, it just doesn't appear on menus in Indian restaurants in France. In fact, it's only recently that Indian restaurants have become popular in France. When we arrived almost 50 years ago, you couldn't find one for love nor money. Later, one or two appeared in Paris. Now, the nearest one is only 5 minutes away, and most towns have at least one. So, there's still hope that dopiaiza may appear on the menu some time soon. :)

I haven't been to France for a long time now. But when I was last there I didn't see a single Indian restaurant. Dopiaza is good. Onions cooked 2 ways. It's a smooth dish. Tasty without being hot.

I can't wait to try it! I shall have to google a recipe and suggest my granddaughter try it. She's very good at Indian cookery. :)

It's not a terribly complex dish. Just takes a bit of time to do the onions slowly.

You might like to browse his food blog. Now sadly neglected, but what he did with it was very beautiful to look at and eat. No dopiaza recipe in it though!

He also did another one where he set out to cook all the recipes in The Prawn Cocktail Years book. But although he got a long way through it, we ran out of steam as not everything from the 1960's was to our taste.

The first recipe and photos in the blog is Boeuf à la Bourguignonne. Just to make you feel at home.

Thank you, I'll have a browse through that. I didn't know there was such a thing as The Prawn Cocktail Years book. I like prawn cocktail, so I'll have a look at that, too. Thank you. :)
