Paloma Thyroid App

I want to share that I have recently been diagnosed with Lymphoedema in my right leg and left arm. As a result, I have been doing some research to learn more about it. During my search, I stumbled upon a website/app called Paloma Health which although based in the US is all about Thyroid - and there are some really good articles on there. Here is the website link for anyone who is interested: palomahealth.com/

I know that a lot of people with Hypothyroidism struggle with water retention - and mucin in the skin - but how to tell the difference between that and Lymphedema. If my Hypothyroidism is undermedicated or wrongly medicated then perhaps this is causing the inflammation as I don't think I was born with Lymphoedema and I haven't had cancer. I was in the Lymphedema clinic for about 20 mins, given a stocking and bye, see you in 9 months. I'm not convinced - but not sure how to go about it.

A post from while back by @xanderusa - which talks about mucin and using NAC as a supplement - and testing for mucin by rolling the skin - healthunlocked.com/thyroidu... - has anyone else used NAC?

Have a good day!

Sorry you've not had any replies yet.

My comment will bring your post back up the news feed, so hopefully others will see it and respond.

Alternatively you could start a separate post solely about NAC as it may be missed at end of the post.
