I haven't posted in a while, but am excited to say that my endo at Stafford County Hospital has at last agreed to prescribe T3 for me!
I was wondering if anyone else has been prescribed at Stafford and if the pharmacy there dispense Roma Pharmaceuticals T3 capsules? For some reason the endo has left it up to me to find out!
Also, if they don't: Can I take the white prescription to another Hospital Pharmacy in the area?
(The last time I tried this (at Stoke Royal instead of Stafford, which are in the same trust) they said they would only do it this time, but because it had Stafford County Hospital on the prescription they wouldn't do it again!)
Can I ask to be sent a green prescription from the hospital?
Or: Can the hospital send it electronically to my chosen pharmacy?
I think that's everything!
Thanks in anticipation!

As for how to get your hands on it, I was given the first script from the endo who then passed it over to my GP and they have more recently been dispensing after initially huffing and puffing so I went to an Independent Pharmacy for the sake of being able to get what I needed without the hassle.... seems they are all a bit vague about how the system works π
Thanks for the reply. My endo had already tried getting the GP to prescribe, since he (the endo) was already helping me with my bought T3, doing bloods etc. GP said no.The GP's excuse on the official form was that 'The patient was buying it herself'! And 'we have never prescribed it for her'!
They've been told that I can't afford to pay for it anymore, and that I crowdfund for it. They just don't care.
And you're right, they don't have a clue. I've had to hand-hold the endo through all stages, and now he wants 'me' to get in touch with 'his' hospital pharmacy to see if they stock Roma capsules!
I had the same response from my GP that "you should continue to buy if off the internet"!
I got them to check their inbox to see that the NHS Endo that they had referred me too had sent them the request to continue prescribing under her management and they conceded... mind you they were the same with testosterone, persistence is key, I sometimes print off the NICE guidelines for them to 'catch up' on π€
