Since my last post following which I increased Thyrogold from 450mg to 600mg there has been no discernible improvement in my symptoms. In fact, some, like the itching have got worse and my itchy eyes now have a brown ring around them - at least I no longer need eye shadow. I am having a flare up of my arthritis which always seems to be associated with an increase in symptoms and I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. The tinnitus and vertigo have got much worse and the lovely stone that I lost last year without even trying has all but returned. My appetite and food cravings have gone through the roof. Naturally that's making me feel blue, given that I would rather live a short time in my right size body than linger on feeling like a beached whale. I tested again some weeks after the increase and have no idea what the results mean compared with the last lot; I am attaching the readout. I have some Tiromel and trialled that for a while but felt a bit lost and also no better so I stopped. Now I am wondering whether to increase the Thyrogold to 750mg, though the cost has risen from $40 to $65.50 per pot so that's a bit unwelcome especially as postage is $40. I have read other posts that seem to suggest that Thyrogold works well for a while then stops being efficacious. I am all at sea and would appreciate any comments or advice on what to do next......... thank you in advance xx
On a separate note if anyone is interested in buying my copy of Dr John Lowe's book, The Metabolic Treatment of Fibromyalgia, I am selling at £50 plus postage, - it is the size of two house bricks! please DM me.
