first test results on T3/T4 combination

Hi all

Looking for thoughts on the results of my first test on T3/T4.

I have an appt with the endo on Wednesday, just for info he is a TSH bod

T3/t4 comb 75t4 10t3

Tsh 0.08 (0.38-5.33)

Ft3 5.3 (3.8-6.0)

FT4 10.5 (7.9 -14.4)

Previous results on T4 100 from October 23

Tsh 0.05 (0.38 - 5.33)

Ft3 4.5 (3.8 - 6.0)

FT4 12.7 (7.9 - 14.4)

I feel ok generally, a little more energy most of the time still can’t do too much without being wiped out the next day or so, have the occasional unpleasant palpitation (different to how they used to feel), have gained a little weight and the brain fog is a little less some of the time.

Would appreciate any thoughts / experience.

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last 5mcg or 2.5mcg dose T3 approximately 8-12 hours before test

Is this how you did test

Ft4 currently only 40% through range

Free T4 (fT4) 10.5 pmol/L (7.9 - 14.4) 40.0%

previously

Free T4 (fT4) 12.7 pmol/L (7.9 - 14.4) 73.8%

suggest you request increase to 87.5mcg daily

Retest in 8 weeks

Which brand was 100mcg Levo

Which brand is 75mcg Levo

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested

What vitamin supplements are you taking

As you have Hashimoto’s are you gluten free/dairy free
