Yes, I have. When on high doses of T3 only. I’ve swopped back to combination T4 & T3 now to try to stop increasingly high blood sugar readings. What meds are you taking?
The best thing to do otherwise is to eat low carb or Keto. I’m in my 3rd month of low carb, can’t quite got to Keto but I don’t now eat normal bread, just a linseed & almond flour loaf, no pastry, no root vegetables except celeriac, very little fruit. No dairy milk, nut milks instead. Lots of recipes on the web. It’s not bad when you get used to it.
I have read the hashimoto's is associated with an increased risk of diabetes and also affects cholesterol levels and bone health. I have been vegetarian since 2006, no dairy, no gluten. It baffles me that my last few yearly Labs show my a1c higher outside of normal range at 6.0 and 6.1. I also very rarely drink and don't eat sweets, watch my sugar intake, an exercise daily. I bought a glucometer and randomly check my blood sugar. I have been noticing with a decrease in starchy carbs and improvement in bloodclose. I have my yearly physical in May and can't wait to see if my A1C has dropped back down to normal. Hashimoto's dark wreak havoc on your whole body.
Glad to see you are making progress with blood sugar levels. Unfortunately many people are unaware that all carbs raise blood not just sweet items so thanks for raising that.
