You have only been on 50mcgs Levo for 2+ weeks and it takes 6-8 weeks for the dose to stabilise your blood results. These results won't be accurate unfortunately.

I can tell that you're distressed about your symptoms and ability to go back to work but there really isn't anything anyone can do to speed your healing up. It's a slow step wise process that needs to be slow to work. Those that try and rush things along get in a worse mess because their body just isn't ready to be rushed and causes further symptoms.

If you can settle your mind to the fact that this will take whatever time it takes, then that will help.

Try and find distractions and things you are able to do to pass the time and be positive about.

Patience is hard, but there are no shortcuts to starting Levo.

6-8 weeks on the same, unchanged dose. Do not waste time or money getting bloods anytime before 6 weeks. As Jaydee notes - they are at best useless and at worst misleading.

It is hard. We can all empathize. But slow and steady wins this race. You’re through 14 days, if you start changing things now you will have to reset and do the whole 6 weeks all over again.

Keep your resolve. No more bloods for a solid 4 weeks.

Unfortunately i have to return to work shortly. 50 is a low dose - so i will see what my Endo says next week. Unfortunately i cant afford to be patient much longer. I dont have 6 - 8 weeks. I appreciate the advice but i will see what the consultant says. I will not change my dose unless he agrees. I hope he says 50 morning and 50 night. As some people do start on 100.
