Raised dose

So last bloods 4 weeks ago,just TSH ,3.25 ,on thyroxine 100 mcg /87.5 mcg alternate days.So raised thyroxine to 100 mcg 5 days and 87.5 mcg 2 days a week.3 weeks of new dose,slight improvement in pain ,but short of breath on excertion and weak.Will it take longer than 6 weeks to feel improvement on such a small increase ?

I never have a ‘eureka’ moment within 6 weeks. For me, & many other members, it takes a couple of months on a new dose to ‘feel the benefit’. I always retest levels at 8 weeks. TSH should always be under 2, with most members feeling best with this significantly under 1.

We really need to see FT4 and FT3 alongside TSH to offer better advice.

Thanks Buddy195,yes,FT3 and FT3 ,would be best ,but go will not do it.I was significantly under 1, being 0.13 to 0.26 ,thinking this was good but feeling awful.I was walking around at these levels not knowing I was actually being overmedicated.Endo reduced my dose and now stopped feeling raved up all the time.But I feel ts h now to high and just trying to get the right spot.

When was last time FT3 and FT4 tested?
