hi, can I check if it’s ok to drink coffee or at least decaf (I know it still contains some caffeine) in Graves’ disease? I LOVE my coffee and I only have 1 in the morning. I have been on carbimazole for over ver 2 weeks. Would like to know what you do.

When I started carbimazole I gave up coffee. Lasted about 3 weeks before I started again.

This morning I had my carbimazole with coffee, I was in a rush. Now on my second mug.

Usually take with water & wait 30 mins before eating / coffee.

My opinion is enjoy your coffee. Just not at same time as carbimazole!
