could they have been less concerned? Absolute fluff. Not even a committal name attached. Unbelievable.
That’s contempt, esp for women as we make up the majority of thyroid patients. I’m so angry. After everything the nhs has put me through I shouldn’t have been surprised. This isn’t healthcare, it’s a dartboard with medical gobbledegook on it. Without this group I would not be here, my health has been irreparably harmed, my life permanently limited. By “medical professionals”.

Indeed, usual waffle but I didn't know this bit:"that is, hypothyroidism requiring thyroid hormone replacement) can apply for a medical exemption certificate which provides all their prescriptions free of charge." is it common knowledge, I'm not taking any prescribed thyroid meds so I don't know?
Some GPs will tell patients. And every prescription lists that on the back. (So long as the person understands the wording which is not that well chosen.)
Some pharmacists tell patients to ask their GP.
Some patients find out when they post here.
And it only means anything in England! Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales do not have prescription charges.
It is, of course, utterly irrelevant padding in the context of the petition.
that’s the theory. In fact I’ve spent 20,000+ mitigating nhs incompetence these past 7 years.that’s only this series of unfortunate events, I have prior history which am I process of making public.
Exactly, nothing more than a typical extensive, ‘bland’, ‘ means nothing’ response where someone can give themselves a pat on the back for having responded.
I suspect that the peple who write those responses must have had hours of ‘totally missing the point’ training to be able to respond as they do. Grrrr.
