It appears the latest edition was published 1st June 2019.

Most reviews are positively ancient - and apply to previous editions.

Also, it has always been very USA-oriented.

Are you trying to get hold of a copy? Or ask question about it?

Actually this seems less!

abebooks.co.uk/servlet/Sear...

I'm mostly well due to her books. I'm on no meds at all apart from T3 and vitamin supplements and I'm in my 60s

I thank you. 😂

Our problem is very complicated but thanks to Janie I'm on top of it, for me anyway. We cannot live for conversion alone. The thyroid makes 20% of our T3 there is no way the T4 we're given can be converted to make that up, even if we can convert efficiently. Our vitamins and minerals have to be spot on to convert otherwise we end up with rt3, or pooling, which makes us ill. Our adrenals have to be functioning normally otherwise they too prevent conversion and, to add insult to injury, some of us can't convert for genetic reasons. I'm gluten free because, for some of us with autoimmune thyroid disease, it helps to keep our antibodies down. Gluten can, and in my case does, cause our antibodies to rise and we all know where that leads.

If we have one autoimmune disease we're more susceptible to others but I wonder if that's down to less than optimal vitamin d3. There is so much more but I'm obviously, only knowledgeable about my own body. I keep my vitamin d3 and b12 right at the top of the range and always take ashwaghanda on a morning and holy basil in the evening.

There is so much to learn and I have really just scratched the surface but I'm well and that's really because I found sttm

Another thing I've learnt is my T3 meds need adjusting because of the weather, if it's hot I lower my T3 and if it's cold I have to raise my meds. We have to learn how our own bodies react to meds and dose accordingly
