Corona and thyroid erfa

Good morning,

I am new. I have a question regarding my current experience. I have had corona for the past days. It is now over but I experience this weird feeling of still having some light fever or a kind of light sweat and I smell like sweat which I never due. I do not sweat.

I took my temperature and I usually have very very low temperature: 35 degrees celsius. It is now 36 and that makes me feel feverish. During corona, I had 36,9 and that's definitely a temperature for me.

I realised today that it might be linked to my thyroid medication rather than Corona. I actually have increased thyroid Erfa during the last couple of days from 90mg to 105 mg today. I increased it because my symptoms (shivering, constipation, fast heart rate, etc) increased lately likely due to the cold weather but the last days it has been a lot warmer outside and inside (radiators finally working again) and maybe now 105 is too much? My doctor recommended me to increase/decrease depending on the weather.

Did anyone have this kind of experience? Linked to corona or to the weather and too much thyroid erfa? Or both? I heard corona can provoke temperature disregulation for a while. It's all ways a bit tricky when to things occur on the same time and then to know what is attributed to what....

I think I will decrease my thyroid Erfa to 97,5 mg for a few days and decrease more if needed.

Thank you very much.

Hi. My Endo has told me that it’s now known that corona has an affect on the thyroid gland, particularly can heighten thyroiditis.

Thank you Confused01. Yes, I believe now so too. Luckily it is settling now and I have increased my thyroid Erfa.
