Hi not posted here in a while so today I was told my TSH is super low below 0.5 and my bloodwork was done before taking my t3. Currently take 40 mcg liothyroine in tablet form. They suggested I go down to 30mcg daily 15 in morning 15 in evening. However they have swapped it to liothyroine capsules. My main question is how have people got on from going from the tablet to capsules form? I do suffer sometimes with heart palpitations this might be why also only 8 stone.

Liothyroine tablet to capsules?
There have been varied responses to Roma capsules.
Note that the Patient Information Leaflets say that you can remove the contents, mix with water, and take that way. Thus avoiding any possibility of issues with the materials of the capsule itself.
Are you on T3 mono-therapy? If so, 40 mcg T3 is not a very high dose. And your doctor should not be dosing by the TSH! It is irrelevent when taking T3 because it's doing to be low because you don't need it any more. Why would the pituitary produce something you no-longer need? It's an absolute farce!
In any case, 10 mcg T3 is too much to reduce in one go, anyway. It's shouldn't be more than 5 mcg every two weeks. Do they ever test your FT3, as you're taking it? Palpitations can also be a symptom of under-medication.
Good info also on a side note is relvar ellipta an OK inhaler to take with t3 should I space it out my asthma has got worse so the nurse put me on this
I'm afraid I know nothing about interactions between inhalers and thyroid hormones. And a quick search revealed nothing. But as the T3 is going into your stomach and the relvar ellipta into your lungs, they won't come into contact with each other, so probably alright.

When were vitamin levels last tested
Obviously essential to test Ft3
On T3 - day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last dose 8-12 hours before test
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
