Serum cortisol test results

Hello all,

Further to my saliva cortisol test (link to post below), I requested a serum cortisol test at my GPs (8.45am, yesterday):

Serum cortisol level 381 nmol/L

>350 nmol/L makes adrenal insufficiency unlikely

Is this in keeping with my less-than-optimal-and-occasionally-below-range saliva results? I was holding off supporting my adrenals until after the blood test.

So this ties in with the saliva test... not terrible... could do better!

Have you started on your 'be nice to your adrenals routine' ?

Hi Eeyore,

I was thinking the same. Haven’t started yet, no, planning to start in earnest next week. Just wanted this test out of the way first. Thanks for responding.
