Hello, its my first time posting and looking for some advice, please?I have had blood results as follows:-

TSH 0.72

T4 22.1

T3 6.8

I have lots of symptoms of hyperthyrodisum but i have been taking a multi vitamin with 100ug of Biotin. I can't remember if i took this before the tests.

Could someone tell me if 100ug would affect the test results, please?

Hello and welcome

That's a relatively low dose of biotin so I would think minimal risk of issues, I believe biotin peaks at 2-3 hours after taking and it's more of an issue for larger doses 300+... your results are right at the top of the ranges yet TSH isn't terribly low

Hyper isn't my forte, hopefully someone else will have some tips 🤗

Do you mean 300 micrograms or 300 milligrams of biotin?

Both are feasible.

I was going with ug

Would 100ug equate to 100mcg?

Yes indeed 😉 I was sticking with ug as that was your unit

Have a read of my blog on the issue:
