vasiliki99, I know one member suggested T3 in your last post a few weeks ago BUT it is NOT recommend to go down this route without first working to optimise Levo dosage and key vitamins.

Be assured, the vast majority of members improve their thyroid health by taking an optimal dose of Levothyroxine and having optimal key thyroid vitamins (ferritin, folate, B12 and vitamin D)

In your last post, you were recommended to share blood test results for TSH, FT3 and FT4, in addition to the above vitamins. We need to also need to see ranges, as these can vary between laboratories. When you share these, members can then offer better advice.

Are you still taking 75mcg Levothyroxine?

What supplements/ dose are you taking? At what time do you take your thyroid medication? What time do you take any supplements?

🙏🏽 to this. Something I often need to be reassured of too as alternatives thyroid treatments are mentioned way too often by other members without this caveat. Whi,h can be disheartening.

Vasiliki99 75mcg is a very low dose and many would bro expect to feel better on this. Some yes, especially if their hypothyroidism diagnosis was not delayed in a way. I too think you need to give Levothyroxine a proper chance.

yep I have to say that I just do not know - I see a lot posts and most are not that happy with Levo although we accept it - I am on 75mcg Levo but I have been in it since 2012 more or less constant from 50-100mcg. I dont know but when I was on a bit of T3 it was a boost. I am trying the book on hypo Paul Robinson, the iron and folate and the B12 and D .............I cant say it is easy with this cold also and I dont find iron supplements cheap or easy to absorb my systems are f~~~~ now really it is as if the body wont take the iron - or is allergic to it ..............I think it is the D that it takes and the B12 it will take - it is a veru out of bakance system and it is internal - this modern world is just awful and this disease too on top of me it is so odd I never imagined ill health
