Thyroid and mushrooms 🤔

Hello.

This may seem like a daft question but I was thinking about buying a mushroom complex capsules to help with boosting immune system during the winter and one of the reviews I read said that they can adversely affect the thyroid. Has anyone heard of this or should I do reading Amazon reviews !!

Thanks.

ChickieBaker, If you want to try any medicinal mushrooms, you'll usually get much better value buying the loose powders (e.g hybridherbs.co.uk but there are probably other equally good brands). Capsules are almost always a very expensive option. 😊

I have no thyroid and have always eaten fresh mushrooms twice a week for years no problems. There are many different types of mushroom the complex could possibly contain something that affects the thyroid.
